London Hooligan

I'm writing out of order. I actually did the London trip before Switzerland, but I've slacked on doing these so hard that there is no relation between the order of my journeys and bloggings.

This post will have a small portion of the photos that I actually took whilst in foggy London town....you'll see the rest when I get back stateside. And actually it wasn't foggy at all. In fact the weather was clear with high clouds, but brisk. So the locals kept telling us we were there during the best possible weekend. Not only was the weather perfect as far as London goes, but London was also playing in the Championship game for Rugby against Southern Africa....they lost, but more on that later. On with the images.

(and for future reference the goofy looking African American kid with the big hair is my good buddy Kyle... the angry looking large fellow whose heads posterior always seems to always make it into my shots is my other good buddy Kamron.)

See thats Kyle with a bum in Trafalgar Square.Below are shots from the South Bank where I spent most my time while there.

Vaxhaul StationGreen Park (where I want to come to die.)
Below, in order, Leah, Kathleen, and Kyle during my
favorite night in London... the night of the rugby game. We were in Soho and the streets were packed. We had had a few by the time these pics were taken. Because the pubs were so packed we just sat outside with the every moving throngs and drank our beers and chanted with the Brits and watched the game from outside. Leah's pic cracks me up...and it you knew her it would make you laugh too.

Pat is now officially Euro Trash

I arrived at the Chateau de Pourtales in Strasbourg, France on Tuesday 25/9. I was dumbfounded by how awesome this place was and the fact that I was going to live here for the next three months made me think I was in some surreal dimension. I mean I hadn't slept in two days and this information was presented to me... I had to check myself.
I woke up the next day, and what a feeling it is to wake up in another country for the first time, I took a walk around the grounds and took the pics below. (there is probably around 2.5 miles of walking paths on the grounds of the chateau)
Everyone here in the group is cool as far as the guys go.... the girls are fine too, but there is already some catty behavior going on amongst their ranks. Weve alll been to the city proper many times already but I havent brought my camera there yet mainly because I wanted to soak it all in first and not worry about getting good shots. Those'll come within the next few days.
Anyways enough blathering, enjoy the images and be envious. (my room is right next door to guests of the European Union Parliment)
